The Augmented Reality represents a form of interaction that mixes the real world with virtual elements, or virtual reality.

This is no new area (the first references date back to 1849 when Richard Wagner introduced the idea of creating “immersive” experiences using a darkened theater and surrounding the audience of sounds and images).

Recently, the “Augmented Realities” began to emerge from the imagination of science fiction (e.g. Neuromance and Minority Report ) and gained a new expression, partly by the growth of video on the Internet, real-time interactivity, GPS and 3D.

Despite following these developments some time ago, only very recently have I felt the practical usefulness, the result of:

    • Mobile applications:* “Increased Realities” will surely be the “Killer Apps” of new generation mobile terminals. Some examples:
