On seeing Vodafone's new subscription (in part by the title of previous post ) I found myself thinking that something fails in this signature and came to mind the image of a middle-aged type saying “Nice, man!” to look “cool”, “young” and “synonymized”.
Vodafone changed the signature from “live the moment” (“Make the most of now”) to “power to you”. With the “power to you”, it is said customer-centered and reinforces the Internet and multimedia experience, through the bet on the smartphone and the Vodafone 360 service, a social network integrator with an “app store” ( iTunes effect?) and replacing Vodafone Live (launched in 2002).
What's wrong? The “You”!
In context 2.0, the “power” is not in the “you”, it is not in the individualization but rather in the opposite, in democratizing, in connecting, in enhancing interconnections. The “power” is in “now” and “community”. In the capacity to enhance the community. In “ crowdsourcing ” That is, in an always positive “US”.
This is the moment of... “ Power to us ”!
